Built by a gamer
Our story.
A local kid's vision, built for an entire community.
Hi, I’m Mitul. I’ve been gaming since before “esports” was a word.
In the early 2000s I was winning Halo and NBA tournaments, and I still play competitively today. Some of my closest, lifelong friendships started with a controller in my hand.
II’m also Cedar Grove through and through. I grew up here, went through our schools, and I’ve called this town home for nearly 40 years. As a kid, I always wished we had a place where you could walk in, grab a seat next to your friends, and play on gear way better than anything at home. Cedar Grove didn’t have one, so I built it. GG Academy is our town’s first purpose-built esports center.
I’ve spent my career building businesses, and here’s what I’ve learned: people don’t come back for the product. They come back for how a place makes them feel. Yes, we do gaming, STEM and trading cards. But what we’re really here for is community, great equipment, great service and a whole lot of joy.
Come play. We saved you a seat.
We built the place we wish we'd had growing up. Now there's a seat here for you.
More than a game
What we're really about.
Gaming is better together. At home, your friends are voices in a headset. Here, they're in the seat next to you, cheering, trash-talking and celebrating every win.
Find your people.
That's the GG feeling: having a squad, meeting other people who love the same games, and being part of something. Whether you're 8 or 48, a first-timer or a tournament regular, you belong here.
Turn play into possibility.
The same kid who loves Minecraft can learn to code in it. The kid who lives for Fortnite can learn to stream, produce and compete. That's what we mean by "from gamer to creator."

Built for parents. Made for gamers.
For parents
Your kid is going to game either way. Here, it happens face to face with friends, with staff keeping an eye on things, instead of alone in a bedroom.
We also turn what they love into real skills. Our students have:
- Coded and designed their own programs from scratch.
- Started their own businesses using tech skills they learned here.
- Built income streams through gaming, including students who learn differently and found their thing at GG.
We keep our classes priced as a local value option, not a franchise. If two or more kids want the same class, we'll work with you on the schedule. We can also bring classes to your school.
